Verifying your Assigned Device

In order to use the KACE Downloads feature you need to verify that you are assigned your current device in our Inventory. You verify this by checking your Computer Name against the record in KACE under “My Devices”

To find your Computer name, navigate to the computer properties in Windows Explorer.

 

Under “Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings” find the Computer name. It will take the form of EC1234.

Verify that this number matches the number in KACE under “My Devices”

If these numbers do not match, please submit a ticket listing your Computer name using KACE. We can update the inventory to reflect your assigned device.
