Adding DUO Mobile for password recovery

Earlham College as added the ability to use an authenticator as part of our password recovery options. Below are the steps in order to set up DUO Mobile as an authenticator option.

Navigate to password.earlham.edu. Once signed in, you should be presented with adding an authenticator to your account. Because Earlham already uses DUO. This guide will assume that is the one you are going to use.

Open the DUO Mobile App on your Device. If you do not have this app, It can be downloaded from the App Store(Apple) or the Google Play Store

 

Once the App is open. Select the “+Add”.

 Select the QR Code button at the top of the screen and scan the QR Code.

 After the code has been entered. A list of Emergency PINs will appear. Save these in a safe location. These are emergency ONE TIME USE numbers to gain access to your account in case you lose access.

 

You have now set up your account to use DUO Mobile as a password recovery option.
