Registering for Duo Two-Factor Security

DUO two-factor authentication is a security method that adds an extra layer of protection to online accounts and systems by requiring users to verify their identity using a secondary device or method in addition to their usual login credentials. Below are the steps to initialize your DUO setup on your mobile device.

Enter in your cellular number and select continue.

Verify the number you entered is correct and select “Yes, it’s correct”. If you need to make changes select “No, I need to change it”.

To receive an SMS text select “Send me a passcode”. If you would prefer a phone call select “Or call my phone”

Enter in the passcode that was provided and select “Verify”

If you do not have DUO Mobile downloaded. Download it now using the provided links. Once you have it downloaded, select “Next”

Open the DUO Mobile App and Select “+Add” in the top right.

Using your Phone. Scan the QR code being shown on the Screen. Your Device is now set up to use DUO Two-Factor Authentication!
